Practice Tips:
- Remember that the notes in the Left Hand Chords should be played at the same time.
- Practice the left hand by itself until you are comfortable moving from chord to chord.
- When you are ready (maybe by the last day or two of the week), try putting the left hand and right hand together.
- If it's really difficult, just wait until next week and I'll help you put the hands together. The more you practice each hand separately, the easier it will be to put them together.
GENERAL PRACTICE TIP: Sometimes a song will seem really hard! But don't worry, this is normal. Just practice a little and then take a break. Often when you come back the next day it is automatically a little easier! Every day the same thing will happen! So don't give up! You can do it!
Other things to remember:
- Check your hand position and shape.
- Watch which fingers you are using.
- Have fun!
Don't forget to practice your songs in your lesson book as well!
